This website exists to help protect the community. Joe has damaged many home-owners and tradespeople in Winnipeg, Calgary and Airdrie and it is our desire to make it as difficult as possible for him to continue to do this in other markets in Canada. Joe has been active in Calgary and the surrounding area from early 2023 to present. We need to make the public aware to protect people. If a media organization would be willing to do a story on this it would be a huge help to the cause and would help protect other home-owners and tradespeople from being damaged.

Some people respond and say “why don’t you just call the police” or “call a lawyer” but it is not that simple. Joe has set himself up in such a way that he is very hard to convict criminally. Technically he has done nothing that would qualify as a criminal offence unless you could prove intent which is extremely difficult. If you make an agreement to pay someone and then are unable to pay that person this is not a criminal offence. If you set up a contract with someone that has no dates and then you inform them the project will be done next year this isn’t criminal. Small claims court can be helpful to get a ruling that demands payment but it does not guarantee funds. Each person who has been affected by Joe has to make an individual choice wether or not to sue and of course it takes money and time to sue so most don’t bother.
